This community exists to post recommendations of works eligible for the upcoming Hugo Awards, especially those published by less well-known sources: non-US/European publishers, small/indie publishers, self-published works, fiction released on blogs or fic archives, fan artists at deviantart, and so on.
At this time, that means the awards that will be given out at ConZealand, July 29-Aug 2 2020. Works being considered for the Hugo Awards must have been published or finalized in 2019; works being considered for the 1945 Retro Hugo Awards must have been published or finalized in 1944.
Posting rules will be set up soon. There'll be tags and a template. The intention is to have one recommendation per post, with an explanation of why it stands out. Self-recommendations are welcome but need to be identified as such.
